I am AKASH VUKOTI, a 14 year old Spelling Bee CHAMPION, CELEBRITY & CHILD PRODIGY from the United States. I was born in Maryland, the suburbs of Washington DC and I currently live in San Angelo, Texas. I love language arts & entertaining people. I can read & write 3 languages (English, Telugu & Hindi) fluently. My parents say that I started reading before I turned 2 and I competed in my first spelling bee when I was just 2 years old. I became a member of the High IQ Society MENSA at the age of 3 and a DAVIDSON YOUNG SCHOLAR at the age of 5 years. I have received wide International Media attention and I have people following me on my social media (800K Subscribers on YouTube) from all of the countries except North Korea.

Scripps National Spelling Bee

I am currently the YOUNGEST BOY EVER to compete in the HISTORY of the Scripps National Spelling Bee at the age of 6 years. I have competed FIVE TIMES in the SCRIPPS NATIONAL SPELLING BEE (2016, 2018, 2019, 2021 & 2022) and, in 2023, I qualified to compete for a RECORD 6TH TIME.

I was featured in many TV SHOWS from around the world. I worked THREE TIMES with the legendary comedian MR. STEVE HARVEY. I was featured in the Super Hit TV Show LITTLE BIG SHOTS for THREE TIMES (2016, 2017 and in 2017 UK version). I have appeared as a guest on several TV shows: Steve Harvey Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Harry Show, Fox & Friends, The Preachers and The Kelly Clarkson Show. Good Morning America, Canada's CTV, Australia's The Morning Show andTV9 from Hyderabad India. I was the Youngest CELEBRITY Competitor on the Super Hit TV Show DANCING WITH THE STARS: JUNIORS in 2018.

Indian roots

I am a proud American..... specifically an Indian American! I am very proud to say that my parents (Chandrakala & Dr. Krishna Vukoti) immigrated to the United States from Venkatagiri & Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. And so I am naturally in love with India and its languages and culture.
